Byron Stripling

The Arts Garage in Delray Beach invites you to join them for Byron Stripling. Byron was born to a musical family in Atlanta, and by the time he was 10 he was wailing on the trumpet.  After studying music in college, he traveled the world playing with pop orchestra symphonies and jazz greats. In 1989, he was chosen to play with the Boston Pops Orchestra, and went on to appear with over fifty orchestras nationwide. He is currently the artistic director and conductor of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, and his style and skill are often compared to a modern Louis Armstrong. He is an extroverted performer, who engages audiences and incorporates them into his music. He exudes joy through his instrument and his vocals as he continues to forge new ground in the world of jazz.
